Add a new team member (written instructions)
Ensure that you are logged into your website. The black admin toolbar should be visible at the top of the screen.
Hover your mouse over + New on the admin toolbar. Select Team Member from the drop-down menu that appears.
Add the full name of your team member in the title box.
If you wish, you may add information about the Team Member in the main text box. This will appear shortened on the Team page, with a read more link.
Scroll down to the Team Member details box. In the Position/Title box, add the job title of your team member.
You can also set the gender of your team member. Note: we would only recommend setting the gender of clinicians at the practice. Please be aware that once you have set the gender of a team member, you cannot remove the gender, only change it. If you have set the gender of a Team Member in error, you can either remake the Team Member, or contact us at support@gpsurgery.net
In the Qualifications box, you can add the qualifications that your team member has.
Find the Occupation box on the right-hand side of the screen. Click the Occupation you would like your team member to display under. If your team member has multiple roles, you can select multiple occupations.
An optional step is to add a photograph of your team member, to help your patients identify their clinician at the practice. To do this, click the Set featured image link in the Featured image box on the right-hand side of the screen.
Select an image from your Media Library, or drag and drop a new photo to use onto the screen.
Ensure that you add meaningful alternative text to the image. Here, we have added the doctor's name.
Click the blue Set featured image button to add the image to your Team Member.
Click the blue Publish button to add your new Team Member to the Team page.
Your new Team Member will now be added to the Team page.
