Restoring a news item (written instructions)

Make sure that you are logged into your website. You should be able to see the black admin toolbar at the top of the screen.The Home page of a GPsurgery.net website, with the admin toolbar visible at the top of the screen.Click on the name of your website in the admin toolbar to go to the dashboard.

In the dashboard, click the News button in the left-hand sidebar.

In the News section, click on the Bin link.

On the article you'd like to restore, click the Restore link. WARNING: If you select ‘Delete Permanently’, then you will no longer be able to restore your news item. Be careful where you click!

Click News in the left-hand sidebar to bring you back to the News section of the Dashboard.

Click on your newly-restored article.

Click the blue Publish button on the right-hand side of the screen. All restored articles will automatically go into draft. You must click the Publish button on the edit screen in order to restore your article to the website.

Your article will now be restored to your website.
