Rename an item on the Main Menu (written instructions)

Ensure that you are logged into your website. The black admin toolbar should be visible at the top of the screen.

Hover your mouse over the name of the website in the admin toolbar. Select Menus from the drop-down menu that appears.

From the Select a menu to edit drop-down, choose the Main Menu (Primary Menu) and then click the Select button. This will ensure that you are working on the right menu. NOTE: your main menu may have a slightly different name, but it will always have Primary Menu in brackets next to its name.

You should now see a column of boxes with the names of the different items on the Main Menu. Click the small arrow on the right-hand side of the menu item you would like to edit.

In the Navigation Label box, you can now change the name of the menu item. NOTE: The Main Menu will become crowded if your menu items have long names. Make sure that the name you choose is short!

Once you are happy with your changes, click the blue Save Menu button at the bottom of the page. You must do this, otherwise your changes will not be saved.

Your Main Menu will now display with the new item name you have chosen.
