Lost your password? (written instructions)

Go to the Log In page. You can do this by adding /admin to your website address. For example, if your website is demo.gpsurgery.net, your login will be demo.gpsurgery.net/admin.

Add /admin to your website address to access the Log In page

A form will appear with a Username or Email Address box, and a Password box. Below this is a link titled 'Lost your password?'

The 'Lost your password?' link is below the log in box.

Click on the Lost your password? link. This will take you to the Lost Password page.

Enter your username or NHS email address and select Get New Password

After this, an email will be sent to you, with a link to reset your password. Follow this link and it will bring you to the Reset password page.

The page will appear with a randomly generated password already filled in the New password field. You can either use this strong password, or set your own by typing into the box.

You should make sure that your new password includes a mixture of letters, numbers and symbols to ensure that your website is secure.

A suggested password in the New password field, and the Save Password button is highlighted

Once you have decided on your new password, click the Save Password button. You will then be able to login to your site with your new password.
