Check your documents (written instructions)

This tutorial will show you how to check your documents using the Accessibility Checker.


When you're using the page editor, you'll see the Accessibility Checker button in the bottom right hand corner of the main text box.

Any issues will show up as yellow warnings or red errors. Click on these buttons and more information will display to help you fix any problems.

Once you've made your changes, click the Accessibility Checker again to ensure there aren't any further issues.

Once you've fixed all errors, the Accessibility Checker will display with a confirmation message.

Remember: documents need to be checked very carefully to ensure that they are accessible. Many documents are not designed for web, and alternative formats should therefore be sought out.
