Website down? Check this first before contacting us

This article explains how to react if your website appears to have gone offline.

Check that it’s not just your device

Ask colleagues to check whether they can access the website on their devices. You can also use your mobile phone to check if the site is working. You can also ask a colleague working from home to check to make sure it’s not your internet connection at the surgery.

Check that you’ve got the right website address

Once your website is live, any temporary address we gave you to check your site will no longer work. Make sure you are trying to access the website on the live website address.

Check different browsers

Try to load the site on a few different browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Bing etc.) to make sure the issue is not the browser.

If you have gone through this checklist and still can’t see your website, email us at [email protected] and we will get back to you as soon as possible with a solution. We do not have a support phone number: this is the best and quickest way to get help from the GPsurgery.net team.
