This article will explain the Analytics section of the Dashboard and how this information can be used to improve patient flow on your website. The analytics available will give you information about how the website has been used in the last two weeks.
Sessions
Sessions are the amount of individual visits made to your website. This will vary depending on the size of your practice, but is a good indicator of how much your patients are using the website.
When are patients visiting the website?
This graph will give you an idea of the most popular days of the week to use the website. Generally, there is a clear dip in the graph over weekends. If you hover your mouse over the graph, you will be able to see the exact figure for each day's visitors.
You can also download a CSV file of your visits by clicking on the three dots at the top right of this section.
How are patients finding the website?
This bar graph will explain how patients get to your website. Organic Search means that a patient will have searched for you on Google or another search engine. Direct means that they will have typed your website address into the search bar.
What pages are your patients visiting?
This table will show the most popular pages on your website. It's good to check these for any pages that you weren't expecting to be used frequently, or for any that don't seem to be used as much as they should.
Where are your patients when they visit the website?
This table shows you where in the country your patients are using the website. If you have a lot of visitors coming from London, don't panic - many of your patients will be using a VPN. Follow this link for more information about VPNs and your analytics.
