This article gives an overview of the Analytics section of the Dashboard. It explains how this information can be used to improve patient journeys through your website.
Popular pages over the last 30 days
This section of your Analytics page highlights the 10 most-used pages in the services section of your website. Any pages that seem to be used more or less than they should be could be a sign your website needs to be restructured to prioritise key patients tasks. If you have any concerns about this, send us an email to support@gpsurgery.net and we can help you find a good solution.
Top interactions over the last 14 days
This section of your analytics dashboard highlights the most popular patient actions on your website. For this example, clicking the online consultation link is the most popular action on the site. If you hover your mouse over the graph, you can see the top actions for each of the last 14 days.
What devices are your patients using?
This section of your analytics page highlights how patients are accessing your website. An average of 60-70% of patients nationwide access their GP website on a mobile phone, so it's essential your website is setup for these visitors as well as patients using a desktop computer.
Other pages patients are visiting
This section of the analytics page highlights the most popular pages from the rest of your website. You can use this to see how many patients are using things like online forms, news items and alerts on your website.
90 day visitor data
This new section of the analytics page shows you how many patients have used your website over the last 90 days. This will show you trends in visiting hours across this time period, and help you anticipate demand for your services. You can hover your mouse over the graph to view visitor data for each individual day in the 90 day period.
