Adding a new alert (written instructions)
Ensure that you are logged into your website. The black admin toolbar should be visible at the top of the screen.
Hover your mouse over + New on the admin toolbar. Select Alert from the drop-down menu.
Add a clear and concise title to your alert. Remember: the Important messages banner will only display a short title, so make sure that the title you choose is short.
Add further details to your alert in the main text box. Remember: this information will only be displayed when patients click on the alert in the Important messages banner on the Home page, so make sure the main message is clear in the title.
Click the blue Publish button on the right-hand side of the page. You must do this to publish the new alert.
Your new alert will now be displayed on the Important messages banner on the Home page.
